07/10/2024 Waiting for the logo background to dry, so work moving forwards, started to build the box-bed.
13/11/2024. Paint has dried on the first door logo, the first photo shows true shade of Old English White but it has the plash of light from the flash. The second photo is without flash but the background shade is wrong, there is still polishing work to do, I am pleased with the result.
19/11/2024 Small update on the bed, wood floor is taking shape.
07/02/2025 Bed floor is fitted, just a stainless angle to protect the boards when the Tailgate is down. Posts are made to fit the Steak- pockets, Bolster is fitted and the Side rails are being worked on now.
09/04/2025 Have started the brake overall, not something I have done for yrs. To start with I made a shoe truing tool, that reqired a 3/4 x 16 UNF Nut to screw onto the drive shaft, after drilling an 8.5mm hole into one side of the nut and then tapped M10 thread into it a 7″ length of studding to give me the arm to mount a finger gauge to.
01/05/2025 have now finished the brake rebuilds and my truing gauge worked a treat.
21/01/26 Not posted for a while, having problems after being rear ended by an unobservent motorist, left me with not able to spend time on my creeper board under the truck. Have now been able to fit the right side running board and rear fenders, prior to this the bed apron assembly had to be fitted.
When the fenders were put into storage they were wrapped in shrink wrap not only to protect them but also to retain their paint shop luster.
